About Strong Start

I’m Jen and I built Strong Start at age 43 to help women overcome intimidation and begin strength training.

You’ve heard the research – women should lift for bone density, muscle, and longevity.

This isn’t about “should.” It’s about overcoming intimidation and uncertainty with skills and confidence.

The goal isn’t just better posture, stronger bones, or less knee pain (though those matter).

It’s knowing you belong.

To walk into a gym and know exactly what you’re doing. To add weight to the bar that you know you earned.

We remove the obstacles – confusion and inconsistency – and build structure, progression, and real strength.
